National schoolchildren's games close
August 12, 2025The 2025 National Schoolchildren's Games closed.
The games started in January, and were held through five stages.
Members of various school sports groups from Pyongyang Municipality and South Hamgyong and North Phyongan provinces proved successful.
Present at the closing ceremony held at the Hamhung Youth Open-air Theatre on August 10 were officials of the youth league, teachers of the sports groups and schoolchildren.
The provincial standings were announced. Citations and trophies were awarded to the teams that proved successful and the best player prize to exemplary members of school sports groups.
Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a closing address.
