An oratorical meeting of officials and members of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea took place at the Hall of Women on August 13 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the SWUK, officials of the women's union and its members in Pyongyang.

At the meeting, the performers highly praised the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung who accomplished the historic cause of national liberation and built on this land a new society where the people became masters.

A performer in the oratory "The Glorious Country" said that the President is the eternal leader of the revolution and peerless patriot who liberated the country from the Japanese imperialists' military rule through the protracted bloody anti-Japanese war and glorified the dignity and prestige of the country and its people on the highest level.

The participants were deeply moved by the oratory "Strength" telling about the noble devotion of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who resolutely went even to the dangerous frontline for the prosperity of the socialist country and happiness of the people and consolidated the strongest military muscle to guarantee peace of all generations to come.

The oratory "Obligation and Right" reflected the firm determination to remain loyal to the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is continuing the journey of devoted service with a noble sense of mission and warm love for the country and its people.
