Schoolchildren hold study session of reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas

Schoolchildren met at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace in Pyongyang on August 13 to tell impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Present there were Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and schoolchildren.

At the meeting, the speakers explained the immortal exploits of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who accomplished the historic cause of national liberation and the indomitable struggle of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who established precious traditions for carrying forward the history of the Korean revolution with victories.

A speaker said that through the reminiscences "To Defend the Headquarters" he grasped the noble moral world of the passionate fighters who threw themselves into the jaws of death, wishing only the safety of Commander Kim Il Sung, and of the forerunners who created the noble history peculiar to the Korean revolution shining with the spirit of defending the leader unto death.

The reminiscences telling about the noble outlook on the rising generation of Kim Il Sung who brought up the members of the Children's Corps to be successors to the revolution, giving the blanket he used and 20 yuan of meaningful money to them, and his ardent love for the future of the revolution left a deep impression on the participants.

Referring to the contents of the reminiscences "An Undying Bird" reflecting the strong looks of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, the speaker called upon the schoolchildren to prepare themselves to be the pillars of the future and young revolutionaries boundlessly loyal to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
