The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on August 15.
The Chongryon Central Standing Committee in its letter extended the highest tribute to the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who organized and led the anti-Japanese resistance to a brilliant victory, thus creating the ever-victorious tradition of the Korean revolution and ushering in the rise of the dignified Juche Korea, and extended the greatest glory and warmest congratulations to the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who defends and glorifies forever the exploits performed by the peerlessly great men for national liberation and the building of a thriving nation on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The letter said that Kim Il Sung provided the Koreans in Japan with the jubilee of national liberation and the road of revival, put forward them as proud overseas citizens of an independent and sovereign state, rescued the movement of Koreans in Japan from the crisis of their existence and put it on the track of Juche with the wise policy of switching the line.
It noted that he is the saviour of the life of Koreans in Japan and benevolent father as he indicated the road to be followed by Chongryon at every stage of the development of the movement of Koreans in Japan and ensured all the officials, businessmen, compatriots and youth and students lived at the height of glory under his bosom of love.
It said that the exploits performed by him for national liberation are shining more brilliantly thanks to Kim Jong Un, another peerlessly great man.
It added that Kim Jong Un showed great love and trust to personally send the important letter "Let Us Write a New Great Chapter in the History of the Movement of Koreans in Japan by Carrying Forward the Patriotic Spirit of the Founder Generation" on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Chongryon.
The Chongryon Central Standing Committee in the letter wished him good health for the eternal victory in the cause of building a powerful socialist country and the patriotic cause of Chongryon, reflecting the ardent loyalty and boundless reverence of all Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan.
