An oratorical meeting of youth and students to vow to carry forward the revolutionary spirit of Paektu took place at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph on August 15.

Present there were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.

The performers praised the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung who led the arduous anti-Japanese war to brilliant victory and achieved the historic cause of national liberation and the great personality traits of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un as the peerlessly great man who is ushering in a new era of creation and changes on this land with his outstanding and seasoned leadership.

The participants were deeply impressed by oratory “Trace of Loving Care” telling about the warm affections and love of the respected fatherly Marshal who gives priority to the fulfilment of the people's cherished desire in state affairs and continues the journey of devotion for peace and happiness of the people.

Then a demonstration of youth and students to inherit the revolutionary spirit of Paektu started amid the solemn playing of the melody of the immortal revolutionary hymn “Song of General Kim Il Sung”.

In front of the processions were portraits of Kim Chaek, Choe Hyon, Kim Il, O Paek Ryong, Choe Chun Guk and other anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who gave birth to the tradition of victory to be eternal in the history of the country.

Watching the marching columns advancing proudly, the citizens were firmly convinced that the revolutionary cause of Juche will continue to win victory after victory as there is a huge army of successors, a large contingent of patriotic young people vigorously promoting the prosperity and development of the state.
