Personages of various circles of different countries paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in their countries on August 14 and 15 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

Personages of the Laos-Korea Friendship Association, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Women's Union and the Veterans Federation of Laos, the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union and the German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association laid flower baskets and bouquets before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the art work depicting them standing together and paid tribute to them.

Meanwhile, the vice-chairperson of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia paid a congratulatory visit to the DPRK mission on August 18 on the occasion of the anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
