Creations for the happiness of the people have continuously sprung up in the DPRK.

This year alone, the third-stage 10 000-flat construction in the Hwasong area of Pyongyang was completed and the news of farmers moving into new rural houses built in different parts of the country has been reported one after another.

Most recently, the world-level coastal tourist town, a marine park, was built in the Wonsan Kalma area. Thus the area which was well-known as Myongsasimni (4km-long stretch of beautiful sand) has now become more famous as inphasimni, a 4km-long stretch of beach crowded with people.

All this is not because the country has especially favourable conditions and extra money and everything is plentiful.

It is thanks to the plan and will of the Workers’ Party of Korea which intends to turn the Korean people into enjoyers of socialist civilization as soon as possible.

Enjoying a bird’s-eye view of the coastal tourist town presenting a wonderful scene at the inaugural ceremony of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, a new scenic spot of socialist cultural efflorescence, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that what he most wanted to do for the people and to which the Party devoted a great deal of effort for a long time with the cherished desire were translated into a brilliant reality.

His desire to firmly defend and hold in higher esteem the people and make them happiest in the world is the great force and motive power that brings them best civilization and happiness.

He never hesitates to spend a colossal sum of money to do a thing if it is for the people, regarding his anguish for them as his greatest honour.

Whenever a structure for the people’s happiness is to be built, he puts his heart and soul into even a single design or mock-up and devotes himself for its completion.

Thanks to his warm care, a great new era of creating civilization for the people has been opened up, the day of prosperous ideal society has drawn near and the creations of civilization have mushroomed all across the country.

During the construction of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, a world-level coastal tourist town, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un examined thousands of designs, visited the windy construction site several times a year for the completion of all structures in the resort at the highest level and gave detailed solutions to even the problems of developing Korean-style service methods and capabilities.

Therefore, visitors to the tourist resort excitedly say that his warm loving care and devoted efforts for the people created a wonderful coastal resort town in Myongsasimni, while nature had only created a 4km-long stretch of sand there.

In addition, the projects for the development and expansion of diverse leisure centres on a nationwide scale, including that for turning the Samjiyon area into a mountainous tourist resort, convince the Korean people of their future to be more affluent and beautiful.

The Korean people are boundlessly enjoying new civilization and new welfare, thanks to the cherished desire of the WPK which believes in them as in heaven and intends to provide them with the happiest life in the world.
