The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un shows boundless love for young people with full trust in them.

He values most what the young people have done among enormous successes achieved in the building of a powerful country and is very happy to see patriotic young people devoting themselves to the country and the people and therefore puts them forward to be known throughout the country.

As regards their scientific research findings boosting national prestige, he identified them as the treasure of the country expressing satisfaction over the fact that a force of young and competent talents was being created. And he was very delighted whenever young people performed virtuous deeds and displayed admirable traits.

During a photo session with the participants in the Second National Conference of Exemplary Young People of Virtue, he shook hands with each of exemplary young people and saw to it that their beautiful deeds were introduced throughout the country. Under his loving care and trust, such exemplary young people of virtue as the “girl mother” in Kangson were produced in different parts of the country.

With parental love of embracing children, good or bad, he always paid close attention to those who had lagged behind the advancing ranks of youth, encouraging them to dynamically march straight forward, following the Party.

As he placed great trust on young people and gave them courage so that they could advance forward not only during their youth but through their lives, the appellation of youth became a synonym for miracle and feats.

And thanks to such love and trust, the spirit of Paektusan hero youth was born as the spirit of the times．

What he had got strongly attached to and most highly appreciated since his first inspection tour of the construction site of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station were the mental world and ardent patriotic loyalty of young men and women upholding the Party’s intentions with pure mind.

Young people performed miracles in hearty response to his call for building a prosperous and powerful country as early as possible with mutual trust.

They ensured the speed of transport of building materials by travelling the distance which had taken well over three years previously in a little over three months and laid 12 000 cubic metres of concrete a day at the maximum to build a dam despite strong wind, heavy snow and biting cold and thus completed Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station units 1, 2 and 3.

They also performed feats true to the Party’s call during the creation campaign for wonderfully building the city of Samjiyon and construction projects for Hyesan-Samjiyon railway and Jonwi Street in the capital city, a grand monument to youth.

That is why young people attribute the fulfilling life of youth to the love and trust of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
