Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, in a comment on August 22 demanded Sweden unconditionally observe the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations.

Referring to the fact that the Russian trade mission in Sweden was subjected to another drone attack, she said that the drone attacks against Russian diplomatic possessions assume a systematic character and, worse still, they are carried out with the connivance of the Swedish authorities.

The Swedish authorities should thoroughly fulfill their duty with respect to the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations and, in particular, ensure physical security and inviolability of the Russian missions abroad, she stressed.
