Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on August 29.

The Egyptian president said in the message that it is an honour to extend his heartfelt congratulations and wishes to HE Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the friendly DPRK people on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the DPRK.

While celebrating this meaningful occasion together with you, we are pleased that the true bonds between the two countries have steadily developed in the past, he said.

He expected that these relations would further develop in various fields of mutual concern in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

The Egyptian president in the message sincerely wished the respected HE President of the State Affairs good health and the friendly DPRK people progress and wellbeing.
