Venezuelan defence minister expresses stand to react to US threat
September 8, 2025The Venezuelan defence minister issued a statement on August 31 to express the stand to cope with US threat and blackmail.
He disclosed that the US’ encirclement ring against his country is aimed at causing internal disorder and weakening the political leadership.
Venezuela is ready to cope with any attack by the US, he said, emphasizing that if they dare to put their feet on Venezuela, its people will fight.
He asserted that the Venezuelan army keeps a constant watch on the sea border and national airspace.
