The Tanchon Smeltery was selected again as one of the top ten enterprises for 2024.

The smeltery overfulfilled its national economic plan, raised the actual extraction rate of products by more than 2 percent and successfully fulfilled the major policy tasks set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea, including the manufacture of equipment for the regional-industry factories and the construction of houses in the area of Komdok.

Attracting special attention is the experience of the smeltery, which has defended for three years the honour of being one of the top ten enterprises amid the growing enthusiasm for competition between enterprises in various sectors of the national economy.

The success of the smeltery is entirely thanks to the working spirit and creativity of its officials, workers and technicians who are making uninterrupted progress and successive leaps forward by relying on science and technology with the enterprising working style of continuously aspiring to fresh innovations, bold creation and steady advance.
