Officials and members of the women's union had a story-telling meeting "We will uphold our motherland forever" at the Hall of Women in Pyongyang on September 8 in celebration of the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials of the women's union and women's union members in Pyongyang.

The performers praised the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Hearing the stories about the warm love of the peerlessly great men who built a genuine people's country on this land, put forward women as the masters of the country and led them along the road of patriotism, the participants cherished once again the immutable truth that there can be the country and the happiness and bright future of the women when they hold a great father in high esteem.

The performers called upon all the officials and members of the women's union to become true patriotic women who cherish the pride in being citizens of a powerful country, steadily carry forward the fine tradition of the great socialist family and national traits and contribute to the prosperity of the country with loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm.
