Mass rallies for adopting letters of loyalty held in provinces

Mass rallies were held in provinces to adopt letters of loyalty to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Present there were officials of the regional Party, power and economic organs, working people's organizations, industrial establishments, farms and universities, working people, youth and students.

Senior officials read out the letters of loyalty to Kim Jong Un at the rallies.

Then followed oath-taking speeches.

Speakers at the rallies in South and North Phyongan and South Hwanghae provinces said that the Workers' Party of Korea, a seasoned and experienced invincible party which firmly preserves its original ideals and spirit and has the longest history as a socialist ruling party, will greet its 80th founding anniversary, adding that it is the pleasure of all the people and a great auspicious event of the whole country.

Those at the rallies in North Hwanghae, Jagang and Kangwon provinces said that the letters of loyalty sent to Kim Jong Un to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK reflect the boundless reverence for him who has glorified the Party as a genuine party of the people absolutely supported and trusted by the working masses.

Speakers at the rallies in South and North Hamgyong and Ryanggang provinces noted that Kim Jong Un has put the fame and prestige of an independent power on the highest level in the century and ushered in a new era of overall development of socialism and a new era of creation and transformation on this land with his outstanding ideas, extraordinary leadership and indefatigable devotion.

They expressed their determination to honourably greet the Ninth Congress of the WPK as a glorious congress of victors with labour gifts associated with loyal and patriotic fervour.

Letters of loyalty to Kim Jong Un were handed over to the letter relay teams.

The relay teams left for Pyongyang amid the send-off by officials, working people, youth and students of the provinces.
