The Workers' Party of Korea's policy on rural construction unfolded a new scene of a modern socialist rural village also at the Unsong Farm of Jonchon County, Jagang Province.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot. Present there were officials of Jagang Province and Jonchon County, builders and the agricultural workers who would move into new houses.

Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory speech, and licences for the use of houses were handed over and speeches made.

When the farmers began to move into their new houses, there was a cheerful dancing party in the village. Sincere voices extending thanks to the Central Committee of the great Party rang out from the houses.

The mobile artistic motivational team of the county gave a congratulatory performance. Amid the happy laughter and singing, officials visited the farmers' new houses to exchange impressions. The officials encouraged them to successfully conclude this significant year's farming so as to greet the Ninth Party Congress as a glorious congress of victors.
