Modern high-rise apartment houses have newly been built in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province.

Hundreds of dwelling houses, service amenities including shops and a pharmacy, and resting places with flowers and turfs, in which the political character, modernity and cultural refinement are embodied, were built in Sinsong-dong commanding a bird's-eye view of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area known as a tourist resort of national treasure value.

The dwelling houses that have been built along with the new era of regional changes are a proud creation brought by the noble outlook of the Workers' Party of Korea on the people which orients everything to the wellbeing of the people and spares nothing for them.

Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, and other officials and builders of the province and the city congratulated the owners of the new houses.

There was a fireworks display, adding to the joy of the working people who were full of pleasure after receiving new houses, and their laughter and singing were heard from the windows of new houses.
