DPRK player bags gold medal at world wrestling championship
September 19, 2025O Kyong Ryong took the first place in the 55kg women’s wrestling category of the 2025 World Wrestling Championship.
She defeated a Moldovan player 12-0 in the preliminary, a Turkish player 14-7 in the quarterfinals and a Japanese player in the semi-finals by fall.
In the final match she defeated a player competing under neutral status (Russia) 10-0 and won a gold medal.
