The national photo exhibition “By Developing the Workers’ Party of Korea into Juche-oriented Revolutionary Party, the Genuine People’s Party” opened in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.

On display at the venue of the exhibition are photos dealing with the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Photos show the revolutionary career of the President who founded the WPK on the basis of the solid organizational and ideological foundation provided during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and built it into the political general staff of the revolution and the mass party of the working people with invincible fighting efficiency and seasoned leadership ability.

Photos also show the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il who developed the WPK into the party of the President forever.

The photos comprehensively deal with the leadership history of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who proclaimed the modelling of the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the supreme programme of the WPK and ushered in a new era of build-up of the whole Party.

An opening ceremony took place at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang on October 3.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.

Ju Chang Il made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the exhibition venue.
