A ceremony for remodelling the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) in Sinphyong County, North Hwanghae Province, was held on the spot on October 22 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the entry of the CPV into the Korean front.

Present at the ceremony were Vice-Minister of Urban Management Kang Chol Ho, officials concerned and officials and working people in the province and the county.

Also present were Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, staff members of his embassy, a delegation of the veterans and families of martyrs of the CPV on a visit to the DPRK, Chinese visitors to the DPRK and Chinese students and residents in the country.

Flower baskets were laid at the cemetery and the participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the CPV martyrs.

Wang Yajun and Kang Chol Ho made speeches at the ceremony.
