The Taean Heavy Machine Complex was selected as one of top 10 businesses for 2024 as it completed the huge task of manufacturing custom-built equipment qualitatively while reducing the costs by stepping up the modernization of equipment substantially with its own efforts and technology and enhancing the efficiency of production planning and command.

The secret of success is that the complex has attached great importance to talents and figures.

The complex found out reserve talents and got technicians and highly skilled workers to take charge of training them, while assigning technical innovation tasks to the reserve talents and helping and encouraging them to carry them out.

It also organized the deliberation of technical innovation plans presented by employees once a week and pushed ahead with the rapid introduction of valuable proposals into production.

In the course of this, it made a spark perforator and produced and supplied all kinds of dice based on it, normalized the production of coils for generators by installing a nonoxidizing annealing furnace and solved many other scientific and technical problems.

As a result, the updating of performance of turning, hobbing and boring machines and the remodelling of the speed control device for large lathes were completed, thereby increasing their productivity and machining accuracy and making progress in increasing the actual yield of welding and grinding work. And the readjustment and reinforcement of test equipment including the testbeds of various furnaces and hydraulic pumps and the device for dynamic equilibrium of the racing test ground were carried out to improve the quality of materials and machine products.

The complex is training talents after building its own talent training base.

Education at Taean College of Technology has been improved and the material and technical foundations of the school for skilled workers have been further consolidated for training true talents possessed of both theory and practical ability.

The graduates of the school have now become much sought-after reserve skilled workers by all workshops of the complex.
