The whole countryside is turning into a socialist paradise day by day.

New public and production buildings have been built at the Jisin Vegetable Farm in Huichon City of Jagang Province, following the construction of modern houses and schools symbolic of the rapid development of the socialist countryside.

The office building, hall of culture, clinic, pharmacy, comprehensive welfare service facility, shop, 10-day kindergarten and nursery built to provide better working conditions and convenience to agricultural workers and residents visually show the countryside which is turning into rich and cultured ideal villages with modern technology and civilization.

Present at the inauguration ceremony held on the spot on October 26 were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials of the Party and power organs and agricultural workers in Huichon City.

Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inaugural address to be followed by speeches.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the public and production buildings.
