The United States enforced sanctions on Colombia on October 24.

It found fault with the latter’s rejection of its demand for stopping “drug influx” into it.

As to this, the Colombian home secretary stressed that the current sanctions proved that the US’ “anti-drug operations” are nothing but a deceptive farce.

A British media outlet reported that US forces are attacking without any evidence the vessels suspected of carrying drugs in the international waters of the Caribbean Sea, exacerbating tension between the US and many countries in the region for weeks.
