Service facilities on new street bring joy and optimism

Among the cultural amenities filled with their happy laughter, there is the Hwasong Video Game Centre which is crowded with people for the distinctive services.
In the centre customers competitively play games and raise shouts of joy.
Among the merrymakers there are children and adults playing games together.
An old man said he came there immediately after breakfast pestered by his grandson and he felt refreshed spending a pleasant time.
The Changgwang Sparkler Shop located on Rimhung Street in the district is also a crowd-puller.
The shop in the splendid new street is crammed with shoppers.
It is full of various fireworks.
Saying that she did not know there were so many sparklers in the shop, a middle-aged woman from Taesong District of Pyongyang purchased them, counting the number of holidays and anniversaries she would celebrate in the future.
In the shop, no sooner had a man bought sparklers than his child badgered him to light one of them at once, so the father was busy trying to coax the boy, raising a smile on other customers’ lips.
Hwasong Street also has service buildings for the elderly.

According to Manageress Pak Kyong Sil, old people are provided with diverse services such as bath, massage and other physiotherapy after consulting doctors about their health at the health complex.
Jon Yong Chol, an old man living in Chonghwa-dong No. 1 in Hwasong District, said that he felt relieved of lumbar pain and regained his appetite since he began to receive various services there.
Other old people said that they have received thermotherapy using mud from Lake Sijung, well-known as a good peloid, and paraffin and obtained remarkable results in treating chronic gastritis, neuritis and women’s diseases.
The manageress said the complex is making preparations for providing diet and nutritious meals good for the treatment of obesity and hypertension and the recovery of liver functions.
Kim Yun Sop who played Korean chess games with his peers at the amusement room happily said that he felt younger physically and mentally whenever he received kind service at the health complex built in the new street thanks to public respect and preferential treatment for the old people.
