The 12th Pyongyang Musical Instruments Exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on November 7.

On display there are more than 1 100 musical instruments and their parts and supplies of 38 kinds developed and produced by the Pyongyang Musical Instrument Factory and the Moran, Kaechon and Hwaphyong disabled soldiers’ musical instrument factories.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned and officials, researchers and producers from the musical instrument production units.

Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu made an opening address.

A sci-tech presentation on making musical instruments and a concert, among other events, are scheduled to be held during the exhibition.
