Production is constantly on the upswing at the Chollima Tile Factory, a powerful building-materials producer of the country.

The factory carried out its tile production plan for this year which was set much higher than last year ahead of schedule in August.

The introduction of technical plans for increasing the per-hour tile production reportedly proved very effective.

According to an official of the factory, a mass technical innovation movement was widely encouraged to put into practice dozens of valuable technical innovation plans.

Technicians of the industrial laboratory and many skilled workers of the factory pooled their creative wisdom to improve the quality of products.

They made marked progress in the development of new products such as tiles for stairs made by an injection moulding technique, dressed bricks and quality filling materials between tiles.

The factory rationally remodelled the production lines and increased the efficiency of the drying furnaces in several workshops by relying on its own technical force. It also installed a new pipeline for the supply of gas to the floor and exterior wall tile workshops and reinforced the glaze workshop with stirrer and other pieces of equipment to improve the quality of products.

At the same time, it found one of the most important ways to attain the production goal for this year in readjustment and reinforcement and steadily pushed ahead with the project to replenish the imperfect processes in parallel with the ongoing production.

It set the goals for each stage according to the plan for readjustment and reinforcement and repaired and maintained hundreds of pieces of major equipment on a high qualitative level while supplying lots of work pieces, parts and materials by itself.

Interior wall tile workshop No. 2 introduced the calcination temperature and furnace operation technique that suit the characteristics of raw materials to steadily improve the quality of products and further enhance the capacity of the production line, contributing to the revitalization of production.

The factory also remodelled the production lines to make the production processes multi-functional, established processes for grinding the external wall tiles on a high qualitative level, streamlined the production processes in a mobile way to satisfy the increasing demand for external wall tiles and employed an efficient furnace operation technique that suit the characteristics of raw materials, thereby steadily expanding successes in production.

After setting an ambitious goal to produce millions of square metres of more tiles by the end of the year, the factory is now bringing about a surge in production.
