Vice-chairman of Russian Security Council condemns the West’s support for Ukraine

November 10, 2025

Dmitri Medvedev, vice-chairman of the Security Council of Russia, censured the West for spending huge amounts of money on Ukraine through an SNS on November 3.

He branded the spokesmen for the Ukrainian authorities who had squandered billions of US dollars for several years as “bloody Kiev’s clowns” and stressed that the more money the Western world spends to support these clowns, the more territories will be included in the composition of Russia and the more horrible end Ukraine will face.

He said that the West has spent too much money on Ukraine, adding that that much money would be enough to build a new, neutral and peaceful Ukraine.

Recalling the US’ behaviour in Afghanistan, he said that the US spent US$2.3 trillion “to transfer the power from the Taliban to the Taliban” between 2001 and 2021.
