Thongsavanh Phomvihane, foreign minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and his party arrived in Pyongyang on November 11 to visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the invitation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry.

They were greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by officials of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, the Lao ambassador to the DPRK and staff members of his embassy.
