Shortly ago the education support program centre was built in Pyongyang.

Located in Central District of Pyongyang, the centre has rooms for program development, IT dissemination, video-conferencing, servers, the operation of exclusive education networks and the production of multimedia, which are equipped with the latest IT machines.

As an educational scientific research unit that develops education support programs and makes them products and produces multimedia for education, the centre will play the role of a regional base responsible for the informatization of education in the relevant region while operating exclusive networks of the education sector and carrying out the functions of collecting, classifying, storing and diffusing the data and programs which have already been or will be informatized in the education sector.

The centre’s development forces consist of persons with rich experience in education and high abilities.

Director Choe Yong Il is an able official who designed and created many education support programs while engaging in making education IT-based at Kim Hyong Jik University of Education.

He planned and launched many projects for pushing forward with the work of putting education on an IT basis in regions while working to improve the level of education support programs on the basis of the successes he has so far achieved.
