Child Health Day marked
November 22, 2025An event took place at the Taedongmun Kindergarten in Central District of Pyongyang on November 20 to mark Child Health Day.
Present there were members of the Korean Association for Supporting the Children, officials of the Ministry of Public Health and officials and kindergarten teachers of the units for nursing and upbringing of children in Pyongyang.
The speaker said at the event that in the country which spares nothing for the rising generations, the healthcare and treatment of children and the contents and methods of nursing and upbringing of them are being improved in keeping with the world's development trend, and the institutions for nursing and upbringing of children across the country are turning into the cradles of happiness.
Then, followed a presentation on the qualitative development of the growth of children and vaccination of children.
That day the participants enjoyed a congratulatory performance given by the children of the Taedongmun Kindergarten.
