The construction of rural dwelling houses is progressing apace in different parts of the country amid the dynamic nationwide drive for building the transformative entities symbolizing a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation.

Thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and builders in the provinces, cities and counties and the rural construction sector, well over 11 000 farmhouses have been built to be followed by house moving since the beginning of this year.

In October alone, thousands of farmhouses were completed across the country and farms were filled with joy of moving into new houses.

At present, many areas are pushing ahead with their rural house construction projects at the final stage.

Officials ensure that a well-regulated system of guidance is established to make builders pay attention to improving the quality of construction at the construction sites of rural houses. At the same time, they are arranging the centralized transport of a large amount of cement, steel and finishing building materials to the cities and counties with poor traffic conditions, so that all the areas can advance together in attaining this year’s goal for rural construction.

Provinces, cities and counties across the country are giving a constant spur to the work for building new fairyland villages.

Ryanggang Province has completed the construction of rural houses planned for this year.

The cities and counties of North Phyongan Province, where rural construction is being pushed, are expanding the successes made in building farm houses while deliberating on and examining the technical innovation proposals presented by builders, verifying their effectiveness and introducing them into practice in a responsible manner.

South Phyongan and Jagang provinces are also speeding up the construction of rural houses by introducing advanced building methods.

Rason Municipality has made successes in the construction of farm houses while building up the ranks of skilled construction workers both in quality and quantity.

In addition, Pyongyang Municipality and other provinces are pressing on with the rural housing construction while directing efforts to steadily improving the quality of construction and laying the foundations for producing finishing building materials.

Meanwhile, each province is pushing the building of a farm where modern farmhouses and public and production buildings, such as office building, cultural hall, neighbourhood-serving amenities, clinic, hostel, kindergarten and nursery, go well with each other.
