The Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory was built and the Pyongyang School Uniform Factory was renovated to hold inauguration ceremonies on the spot on November 28.

The completion of the factories equipped with modern production processes has laid solid foundations for supplying quality and stylish footwear and uniforms for each season to the students in the capital city on a regular basis.

Present at the ceremonies were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, working people and builders in the municipality and employees of the factories.

Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, delivered inaugural addresses.

At the end of the ceremonies the participants looked round the factories.
