A distinctive terminal of Phyongchon Passenger Station of the Pyongyang Marine Transport Company was inaugurated.

The modern terminal, built on the banks of the picturesque Taedong River, has a departure hall, room for honoured disabled soldiers, nursing mothers' room, luggage room, shop and restaurant.

It will offer convenience to passengers travelling to the directions of May Day Stadium and Songnim by passenger ships.

Its inaugural ceremony took place on the spot on November 28.

Present there were officials of the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport and employees of the Pyongyang Marine Transport Company.

Kang Jong Gwan, minister of Land and Maritime Transport, made an inaugural address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the terminal.
