South Hamgyong Province has renovated Hamhung Stadium.

The stadium equipped with stands, a referee room, players' waiting room, medical treatment room and others enables players to hold football, basketball, volleyball, track and field, badminton and other sports games and working people, youth and students to enjoy cultural and emotional life while conducting various sports activities.

Present at its inauguration ceremony held on November 30 were officials in South Hamgyong Province and the relevant field, players and coaches of the sports clubs in the province, working people in Hamhung City and employees of the stadium.

Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, made an inaugural address.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round various places of the stadium and watched different sports games of players of the Songchongang Sports Club.
