Lao embassy in Pyongyang hosts reception
December 3, 2025The Lao embassy in Pyongyang hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on December 1 on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Present there at invitation were Kang Yun Sok, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee who is also chairman of the DPRK-Laos Friendship Association, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps in Pyongyang.
Keo Mackhaphon, Lao ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy staff members attended the reception.
Speeches were made there.
