Modern dwelling houses have been built at the Tongchon Farm in Cholsan County of North Phyongan Province and the Jonchang Farm in Songwon County of Jagang Province under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Congratulatory speeches were made at the meetings attended by Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee, officials of the Party and power organs of the relevant regions, builders and agricultural workers who would move into new houses.

As art performances and joyful dance parties were given to celebrate the event, the villages were in a festive mood.

Officials visited the families of farmers who moved into the new houses to share joy with them.

Songs and laughter of happiness were heard from every house and fireworks were set off.
