A meeting took place at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang on December 3 to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Present there were Jon Chol Hi, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned, disabled persons and their families and working people in Pyongyang.

First, donation certificates were awarded to those who have actively supported persons with disabilities, and a video dealing with the successes made in ensuring the rights of the disabled in the country this year was shown.

Then, an art performance was given by the Korean Art Association of the Disabled to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The performers represented the cheerful and lively appearance of disabled persons who are fulfilling their desire and developing their talents under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Prior to the meeting, the participants looked round photos showing the life of the disabled who lead a happy life under the most superior socialist system of the country.
