The Vietnamese embassy in Pyongyang hosted a photo exhibition and reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on December 3 on the occasion of the anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung's visits to Vietnam and the "Year of Friendship", the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Present there at invitation were Pak Sang Gil, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, Kim Sung Chan, president of Kim Il Sung University who is chairman of the DPRK-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group of the Supreme People's Assembly, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps in Pyongyang.

Le Ba Vinh, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy were on hand.

The participants looked round photos dealing with the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Vietnam friendly relations.

Speeches were made at the reception.
