Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected various sectors.

At the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, Choe Ryong Hae called upon officials to organize and guide the production in a more energetic and responsible manner in order to implement the Party's decisions and make a stride forward in realizing the domestic production of catalyst by steadily strengthening its own scientific and technological capabilities and giving full play to the creativity of the masses.

He noted that the workers of the complex should more dynamically conduct the socialist patriotic movement, the revolutionary mass movement, the driving force for creating miracles and innovations, to greet the Ninth Congress of the WPK with proud successes in increasing fertilizer production.

Going round the Unjon County Foodstuff Factory, he called for devoting primary efforts to the quality improvement of products and actively developing and producing various kinds of foodstuffs peculiar to the county so as to make a substantial contribution to improving the people's standards of living.

At the township farm, the Posok Farm and the Organic Compound Fertilizer Factory in Unjon County, he underlined the need to make full preparations for next year's farming, further expand the areas for green cultivation and fish breeding in paddies and fully tap the organic resources of the region to produce and properly supply organic compound fertilizer to the farms in the county.

Learning in detail about the work of the county people's committee, he called for further enhancing the functions and role of the socialist law-observance guidance committee to reliably guarantee the implementation of the Party's policies by law and steadily improve the effectiveness of education in law observance.

Field consultative meetings discussed the issue of fully supplying electricity and raw and other materials necessary for fertilizer production, the issue of paying close attention to the supply service and life for the employees, the issue of improving the organization of and guidance over law-abiding life and others and took appropriate measures.
