Russian President Vladimir Putin visited India from December 4 to 5.

During his visit he met with the Indian President and had talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At the meeting and talks the issues arising in further developing the bilateral relations were discussed and views on international issues of mutual concern exchanged.

A joint statement on trade and economic cooperation, especially military and military technical cooperation, cooperation in the fight against terrorism and in the fields of science and culture and cooperation in international issues between the two countries and others was adopted during the visit.
