Chinese FM demands US abide by One China principle
December 14, 2025A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded that the US observe the One China principle in a press conference on December 8.
Taiwan is an inseparable part of the Chinese territory and how to solve the Taiwan issue is a matter of the Chinese people, which admits no interference from outside forces, he noted.
The US should comply with the One China principle and the rules of the China-US Three Joint Communiques and stop conniving at and supporting the moves of the separatist forces seeking “independence of Taiwan”, he stressed.
It is China’s determination and will to defend the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, he said.
