Russian president refers to state economic development
December 16, 2025Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the issue of state economic development in a state planning and strategic development council meeting on December 8.
He pointed to the need to enforce the line of readjusting the state economy immaculately and transparently and tighten the control of cash flow as part of the combat against the black economy.
He stressed the necessity to radically reduce illegal labour infringing upon the rights of citizens and preserve the motive power of economic development while maintaining a low unemployment rate and proper inflation rate.
The introduction of advanced technology including artificial intelligence would make a decisive contribution to modern economic development, he emphasized.
