Just as the seasons in nature come around without fail every year, the season of moving into new houses and of inauguration, another season bringing pleasure and happiness to the people, has come round every year in the DPRK in recent years.

Ten thousand flats have been constructed in the capital city without fail every year, a mountain-gorge town showed up in the Komdok area and new dwelling houses are being built in rural areas across the country in the new era of rural development.

Large greenhouse farms conducive to improving the people's living standards were built one after another in Jungphyong, Ryonpho and Kangdong areas, the world-level centres for cultural life including the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area sprang up and Pyongyang General Hospital was completed in October this year to open as the first entity of the public health revolution launched by the Workers' Party of Korea.

Changes are also taking place in the living standards of the regional people.

Regional-industry factories were built in 20 cities and counties including Songchon County as modernly as those in the capital as the first entities of the implementation of the Regional Development 20×10 Policy and are being run smoothly. And the Sinpho city and Ragwon county offshore farms rose up to promote the development of their regions by making effective use of local resources.

Most recently, Kangdong County Hospital was inaugurated as the first entity of modern regional hospitals, heralding the second inauguration season in the implementation of the regional development policy.

The new era of transformations unfolding beyond what the people have ever dreamed of and desired is the one brought about by the cherished desire of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

His heart’s desire is the realization of the people's dreams and ideals and the promotion of their peace and well-being.

He is very delighted when the people are pleased and feels very sad when they are in distress, and he willingly shoulders every burden for them. That is why he has so many wishes for the good of them.

Among his wishes are the one to make the people live in modern and civilized houses and the one to produce and sufficiently supply various kinds of fresh vegetables to the people all the year round.

Thanks to the affection of him who is eager to take good care of parentless children and old people with no children to look after them, and to dispel their gloom, old people’s homes, baby homes, orphanages and primary and middle schools for orphans were wonderfully built across the country. All the children of the country are supplied with dairy products and all the students are provided with everything necessary from school uniforms to bags, school things and shoes under the loving care of him who is determined to fulfil the wishes of the mothers who want their children to grow up in good health and study to their heart’s content without any worries.

The great change of regional rejuvenation is also his desire for the good of regional people.

A cherished desire does not come true of its own accord.

General Secretary Kim Jong Un personally examined lots of designs and formation plans and attended groundbreaking ceremonies to encourage builders with his significant speeches. And he continues to visit remote and rough construction sites and pay close attention to every detail lest there should be any shortcoming.

His endless thinking and long journeys of field guidance have created the world of happiness resounding with the people’s laughter in different parts of the country.

A new era of great miracles and changes for realizing the people's dreams and ideals is being ushered in on this land, thanks to the devoted efforts of him who regards the pains he takes for the people as his honour and takes every measure without hesitating to do anything for them, saying that even a star in the sky should be plucked if it is for the sake of them.
