Environment provided for intensifying education through experimentation and practical training
December 20, 2025Centres for education through experiments and laboratories have wonderfully been built in many universities.
They are centres for education through experiments in general physics, chemistry, life science, global environment and automation engineering. They were built to suit the features of the relevant studies and are equipped with thousands of experimental facilities and apparatuses in hundreds of kinds.
Kim Chaek University of Technology has further improved its environment for experimentation.
After building a general lab hall last year, the university established three centres for education through experiments in engine engineering, metal engineering and physics in order to help students acquire comprehensive and profound theoretical and practical knowledge.
Such centres were also set up at the University of Sciences and Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant universities have stepped up efforts to train medical workers qualitatively in keeping with the strengthening of the material foundations of the public health sector.
Phyongsong College of Medical Sciences built a lab hall equipped with dozens of kinds of laboratory and practice facilities including a model for whole body surgery and laparoscopic surgery instrument. Pyongyang University of Medical Sciences, Sariwon College of Koryo Pharmacology and others established new labs to enable students to clearly understand the structure of human body and the principles of functions of systems and improve their practical abilities through different kinds of simulation operations.
Different other universities including Rajin University of Marine Transport, Pyongyang University of Computer Technology and Huichon University of Technology also set up new labs so that theoretical education and practical training can closely be combined in the course of lectures, discussions, experiments and practical training.
