Regional-industry factories inaugurated in Paechon County
December 22, 2025The great Workers' Party of Korea is translating the centuries-old desire of all the people into reality by building entities of prosperity favoured by them in different parts of the country. Thanks to its wise leadership, the county of Paechon, a granary on the west coast, has marked the inauguration of regional-industry factories.
On December 20, there took place an inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories built in Paechon County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy.
Present there were Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Kim Chol Bom, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, officials of the Party and power organs and working people in the province and the county, employees of the factories and officers and men of a construction regiment.
Pak Thae Song addressed the ceremony.
He stressed that the modern light industry factories that would firmly support the improvement of the local people’s living standards and the development of the regional economy are the precious fruition of the devoted efforts of the respected
He ardently called upon all the officials and working people to struggle more dynamically with greater confidence and courage for the successful implementation of the Party’s policy on regional development and for bringing earlier the future of a prosperous and highly civilized country, congratulating the residents of Paechon County who will lead a happy life with the operation of the factories.
Jang Sang Ryong, chairman of the Paechon County People’s Committee, expressed his resolve to uphold with his whole heart the plan and intention of the Party Central Committee to accelerate the comprehensive rejuvenation of socialism through the powerful promotion of regional development and to fulfill his role as a leading member of the revolution in the struggle for promoting the wellbeing of the people, mindful of the importance of the responsibility assigned by the Party and the people.
As balloons of various styles and colours floated up into the air, the premier cut the inauguration tape with employees of the new factories.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the factories and the shop where products were displayed.
With a broad smile on their faces, they looked at various kinds of sweets and cakes, condiments and daily necessities and various clothes for different seasons with the local brand.
An art performance was given to celebrate the inauguration and the sky was aglow with fireworks.
