China accuses Japanese politicians of being accustomed to turning black into white and distorting facts
December 23, 2025A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a press conference on December 17 accused Japanese politicians of being accustomed to turning black into white and distorting facts and of refusing to correct their mistakes.
He said that the Japanese right-wing forces are the habitual criminals good at inventing lies and that they describe the war of aggression against neighbouring countries in Asia as "liberation of Asia", evasively refer to the cruel Nanjing Massacre as "Nanjing incident", beautify the notorious Unit 731 as a "unit engaged in public health research" and distort the forced labour and forcible drafting of "comfort women" as "voluntary actions".
Since the end of the war, Japan has schemed to lift the restriction of the "right to collective self-defense" and even revise the "three principles of denuclearization", obstinately clamouring about "exclusive defense" and "passive defense", he said.
Noting that the Japanese prime minister's remarks on Taiwan are provoking great resentment among the Chinese people, he stressed that Japan should reflect on and repent of its mistakes, instead of making excuses in different parts of the world.
