A ceremony of awarding the title of model law-observance unit to the units exemplary in socialist law observance took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang on December 27 to mark the Constitution Day of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Present at the ceremony were Pak Thae Song and Choe Ryong Hae, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials, leading officials of the Party Central Committee, the Cabinet, ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs and officials of judicial and prosecutorial organs and those of power organs in Pyongyang Municipality.

Choe Ryong Hae, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, made a speech.

He stressed the need for all regions and units to strengthen the socialist law-abiding climate, regarding the WPK’s people-first political idea as an absolute guideline, and thus fully demonstrate the advantages and might of the state and social system where the laws defend the people and the latter observe the former.

A decree of the SPA Standing Committee of the DPRK on awarding the title of model law-observance unit to the units exemplary in socialist law observance was conveyed and commendations given to the Anju 121 Paper Mill, the National Acrobatic Troupe, the North Hwanghae Provincial Posts and Telecommunications Management Bureau, the Jedo Farm in Unchon County, Jaeryong College of Agriculture and other units.
