The farm machine exhibition Development of Farm Machines-2025 opened with due ceremony at the Agriculture Hall of the Three-Revolution Exhibition House in Pyongyang on December 29.

On display at the exhibition, themed “Producing more efficient and modern farm machines under the banner of the programme for the rural revolution in the new era”, were hundreds of farm machines, farm implements and parts of over 280 kinds presented by provinces and various sectors and units.

Present at the opening ceremony were Ju Chol Gyu, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials, scientists and technicians of the Agricultural Commission, relevant units and the units that exhibited their products.

Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, delivered an opening address.

The speaker stressed the need for farm machine research and production units to solve scientific and technological problems arising in producing and supplying efficient farm machines and parts as required by the developing reality.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition hall.
