Farmers move into new houses in South Hwanghae Province
January 1, 2026Agricultural workers of the Wolji Farm in Anak County and the Churung Farm in Samchon County, South Hwanghae Province, greeted the auspicious events of moving into new houses amid a growing number of villages boasting of socialist rural civilization.
Good species of trees have been planted in the farm villages where dwellings were built in good harmony with the landscaping of the relevant areas, adding beauty and scenery peculiar to the cultural countryside.
Attending the ceremonies for moving into new houses held on the spots were officials of South Hwanghae Province, and Anak and Samchon counties, builders and agricultural workers who would move into new houses.
Addresses were made at the ceremonies and the licences for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.
When farmers began moving into new houses, dance parties were held to the tune of cheerful peasant music, and the voices of boundless gratitude to the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea and songs of happiness resounded at the new houses.
