Open-air ice rink in Pyongyang starts operation
January 3, 2026An open-air ice rink in the central part of Pyongyang started service.
The ice rink, illuminated with various light decorations, floodlights and garden lights to unfold a spectacular night view, is a crowd-puller from the first day of its service.
The faces of working people, students and children engrossed in skating and sleighing were full of happiness and optimism, adding beauty to the night scenery of the capital city.
The ice rink provides skating and sleighing service mainly in the evening in consideration of weather conditions.
