Russian President Vladimir Putin touched on the issue of training talents at a meeting of the state council on December 25.

The future 10 to 15 years will be a period of large-scale technical innovation and the rapid development of artificial intelligence, he said, adding that talents will be required in the fields of processing industry, communications and education for the development of artificial intelligence.

Saying that the talent issue is a basic problem for the development of the country today, as well as a comprehensive problem, he noted that the training of talents needed in the economic field remains one of the most important issues facing the state.
